Love this place for a family dinner or to sit at the bar with some friends during football season. Staff is always courteous, and the pizza is always delicious. They even have a GF detroit style pizza that is the best gluten free pizza I've had in Delaware.

Got a gluten free pizza from here that actually tasted like pizza. I’ve tried a few different competitors pizzas and this one is the best. My hubby normally hates trying my gluten free food. Even he said this tasted better than his pizza.

Excellent fresh salad and other fresh menu items! Service is always great! Very enjoyable meal.

We just discovered this Grotto Pizza in Dover and we loved it. The location was a perfect way to break up a long drive. Staff was pleasant and the food was Grotto Great!

This place may be a chain but thy make excellent pizza. It tastes so good you can eat the whole pie including the crust. This location is huge and has an arcade inside too which is fun. Theres different things to buy on the menu and you never leave hungry. This is close to dover raceway so you can go here for food.

Pleasantly surprised. My wife and I ordered a small pie with meatballs. Being from Jersey, I assumed it would simply be edible. It WAS very different from classic jersey pizza but in a good way. The sauce had a very strong and yummy tomato flavor and a decent amount if it. Cheese was perfect. The crust was just right. Not greasy at all. I ordered a 16 ounce Yuengling on tap which tasted very fresh. My wife had a nice pinot grigio. I wish I got the server's name, but she was great (possibly Gina). She was handling the entire bar area with ease and still managed to talk to us. The place is divided, wisely, in two areas, bar and restaurant. A plethora of televisions. A good vibe. Highly recommend.

The food was wonderful and the menu had a ton of options on the menu.

UPDATE 05/11/23: Google asked me to update my review. I still enjoy coming to this location. This time I was here with a friend. She ordered a Cosmopolitan and I ordered a couple Brandy Alexanders. It was the bartender's first time making a Brandy Alexander and my first time drinking them. They tasted great, despite not having any nutmeg available. I got a small anti pasto salad, which was awesome and my friend got the soup of the day, which I believe was "shrimp and corn" (?) or something I wouldn't have expected. She was pleased with it. Excellent. The French onion soup could have had a bit more sodium, but otherwise great. UPDATE 04/29/22:. Went there last night and had a personal pizza with pepperoni and anchovies. While I could have handled more anchovies, it was decent. We also got a basket of fries and some bruschetta that the table split and they were also decent.
